Prescription Renewal Policy

An appointment is necessary to renew your medications, as your physician needs to review your health history, ensure the medication is still needed/appropriate, etc.
We require at least THREE WEEKS’ notice to book an appointment for med renewals. This is best done by:
1) Booking with when you see something to the effect of ‘0 repeats, R=0 or refills:0’ on your medication bottle you just received from the pharmacy; or,

2) Booking an appointment for your next renewal before leaving the office

If you do not book an appointment with enough notice and your doctor sends a prescription to your pharmacy, THERE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE A $25 charge.
If you prefer not to book an appointment, AND your physician deems it appropriate, you can also choose to pay $25 in lieu of the appointment. (This is not possible for all types of prescriptions)
Please avoid asking your pharmacy to fax renewal requests to our office.
